Default Alternator in 626

I just bought a new to me 94 626 for 500 bucks. It has 124,xxx miles and the only thign wrong with it is the alternator belt. I think they might have shifted the alternator a lil and has made it want to chew through belts. This is what I could tell from just lookin at it. I will be pickin it up in a few days and was wondering how hard is it to take the alternator out.

I know you dont have to take it off to change the belt but I want to look at the alternator because I believe it is cocked to the side making it chew through belts. I want to fix the problem instead of buying a belt every week.
