Default 2002 Mazda 626 - not starting intermittently

I've been having this problem for the past few weeks now. Randomly the car will not start. It may be fine for a few days, then when I start it for the day or when I get off work, it won't start. I'll get it jump-started and it'll run just fine. I've taken it to Pep Boys, who ran it through their starter/charging machine, and they say that the battery, starter, and alternator all check out fine. I had an uncle take a look at it, and noticed that the lead on the negative battery cable was a bit corroded, we replaced it and the car ran fine for a week straight, until this morning and the car was dead again.

Any ideas?

Whew, that was close. I figure as long as it's not starting intermittently then you're okay. If it begins to start intermittently then you might have a problem. :P

When it's 'dead' will it still start if you jump start it? Is there any correlation between how long it sits without being started and whether or not it starts?
