Default 1986 626 GT turbo new to me

So I just bought a 1986 626 gt turbo coupe. It has the 2.0 get engine. It ran great for a week and then I let my wife drive it and now it does not start. It is getting fuel but no spark. I replaced the coil as it is the only thing that didn't seem new on the ignition side of things (wires are new ngk, distributor looks newish as well)

I'm thinking the unit that the previous owner installed to replace the knock sensor might be the culprit. I've included a pic. Any info on a replacement would be great or if you have a space knock controller is be interested in it. From research I believe it is a Mitsubishi unit. Only 86 or 87 so I think it is a rare part hense why he went with what he did.

Do you still own this car, and if so would you be willing to sell it? I had an 87 and need the replacement.
