i am looking to turbo my '96 626...the kits are like $3k so im looking to assemble one myself or just do an engie swap. will a 88-90 626 turbo engine be able to be bolted on to my tranny? and also...would like an '87 mx6 turbo engine work or even a subaru wrx or other stock turbo engine work? thank you

 

i would keep it simple when it comes to motor swaps. your 626 should have a slightly different computer than the 88-90. as far as other brands, i would just try to find one made by mazda because there are a lot of factors involved when you start to make those kinds of swaps.
