Temp Gauge showing "SC"

I own a 2005 Mazda Trubute and recently the outside temp gauge on the rearview mirror just show SC the direction still works fine.

I think that means "stone cold"...just kiddin'.

Did you read up about it in the manual?

That means sensor connection. its possible the sensor is faulty or had lost connection with the mirror.
