So, I don't have an app... I just have this fob. I bought the car used just a couple of months ago and I have been digging for the answer to this since. I received two fobs plus his little box with a clear screen and f, stop, ... and start buttons on it. I have done the whole hold function and start like I did manage to find online and nada. I am so annoyed and frustrated, and it is getting cold in the mornings now... would really like to figure this out before we are dealing with snow. Does anyone know anything about how to make this work? It was suggested that the car might be in valet mode, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it out of that, either. My car is a 2018 Mazda 3 sky edition, fully loaded. I can't imagine the remote start wouldn't work with all the ridiculous other things it does. I love this car, but I want to make it start without having to climb in, hold the brake and hit the button.
