I purchased a 93' mx-6 today, and I have a problem... I'm leaking coolant all over... it wont hold it for more than an hour, can anyone tell me what to check?

 

START WITH THE RADIATOR; PLASTIC END TANKS CAN CRACK OR THE O-RING SEAL FAIL.
IF IT'S THE TANK SEAL, TRY CHANNELOCK PLIER AND PINCH THE ALUMINIUM TABS.
ANOTHER COMMON LEAK POINT, IS THE WATER PUMP SEAL. YOU'LL HAVE TO CHECK THIS FROM UNDER THE CAR.
THERE A VENT OPENING BETWEEN P/S AND A/C MOUNTING AREA, IF LEAKING YOU'LL SEE LIGHT GREEN STAIN
BELOW THE VENT.

 

yeah, fill it up with water and have a look where the water comes out. You may just need to change a hose or something. If the leak is not external remove the oil dipstick and let me know if that is where the water has been hiding.
