Mazda Radio code reset

Any solution? I have the same problem as you...
Hello Everybody,
i have a Mazda Premacy 1999 with a casette radio (see Attachment). After a battery change the radio wants to have the radio code but I typed it in three times wrong. Now the display shows Err. Who can help me to find out a key comination to unlock the radio. All key combinations in this thread doesn't work. Some other members in this discussion have the same problem.
I would be very happy if somebody can help me, because i don't want to pay money for unlocking this old radio.

There are about a dozen or so listed codes in this thread. I wish I had the time to consolidate them all into one list and I may try at some point. But have you looked through the thread and tried all the possible codes here?

4989 code works mazda 6.
I have a 2006 Mazda 6 uk model.
Had to mess around a bit as the ERROR did not come up after the first three attempts but when it finally did the 4989 code worked perfectly. Thanks for all the info on this thread.

Hello, I just bought a 08 Mazda 3 and Im going to install a LOC and an amp for some aftermarket speakers with my stock radio. I looked through out my owners manual and found nothing on radio security codes. I also have no codes for the radio...
Does this mean I have no security code on my radio? I dont want to go through the installation process and accidentally brick my radio.
If it does have a security code, what triggers it?
