Default Electrical problem?

Ive got a question, maybe somebody can help me. I've got a 2005 Mazda 6i, and recently started having problems with it. It started out with what i thought was a bad battery, but ended up being the alternator overcharging. It ended blowing the battery, got a new battery and replaced the alternator. Now it seems to have a short somewhere, cause as soon as i touch the battery cable, it sparks pretty bad. It also won't start. All the lights and everything work, but when i crank it, there's nothing at all. i also noticed the "INJ" fuse keeps burning out. Any thoughts as to what might be going on?

I have had a fault in the past where the main loom which goes from the fuse box to the alternator has shorted out , i suggest you carry out electrical inspections of the 'inj' fuse circuit , I know its easier said than done but you must inspect all wiring and connections as short circuits could be anywhere. Im pretty sure its the engine wiring loom but inspect it first before replacing it, Carry out a continuety inspection of all the wires for short to live or earth.
