Do you have a stock radio? I have heard of this being the case sometimes when new radios are put in...

But do you have anything not stock or something that was replaced or any thing like that?

I'll ask around, Bkey71 or babyhuey might have better luck on this one...

I also own a 323 but mine is a 92 so I don't have a rear wiper...

I have a Mitchell On Demand CD ROM that has the wiring diagrams that I purchased about 6 months ago. The only problem is there is no way to share the dang thing. I was looking at the systems you were talking about and they all have the ROOM and RADIO fuse in common. Sounds like you may have a blown fuse and the voltage is back feeding through the brake light switch to these circuits when you hit the brake pedal. It also may sound silly, but check all the bulbs to make sure they are all working properly and look the same on both sides. I have seen bad bulbs cause weird problems before.

Thats ok...i meant to say all your exterior bulbs. You need to use a test light to probe the ends of the fuse to make sure there is power TO the fuse. On either side of the numbers (ex. 15) on each fuse there are exposed metal areas meant for use with a test light.

You're welcome! Good thing you got it fixed, it is usually something simple.
