Hi,

I have a CX-9 and I got the front ball joints replaced under a recall about a year ago - now my tires have severely worn and the tire place says my tires are out of alignment, so I may not get them replaced under warranty. My question is, should the dealership have aligned my tires or checked the alignment when the ball joints were replaced? Could this have been what put my tires out of alignment?

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen or know whether their tires were aligned when the joints were done?

Most likely the wheel alignment would not be checked as the ball joint & lower arm has no adjustment on them to be corrected.
