I bought a Mazda2 hatchback automatic a few months ago, and noticed that this problem hasn't gone away or gotten worse. When I start the engine, put in gear and I accelerate, there is a delay in reaction for about a second and then the engine jerks as if it hasn't been able to get into gear. Doesn't happen when I stop at a light or I've already been driving, only after I start my car. Doesn't do it for any other gear either, only from complete stop and put into first.

I've found a couple other people post about similar issues but with no resolve so I thought I would see if anyone has had this problem themselves or know anything about fixing it. Thanks!
