Default Car Jerks

i was on the highway today and i hit the governer the sec i shifted into 5th...sucks that the governer comes in so quick this car has so much potential could have hit easy 140 and car would still be stable but anyways i hit 118 or 119 but when i keep going that speed it seems that the car is cutting the fuel on and off and makes it seem like the car is going on and off is this normal...HOW CAN I GET RID OF THIS GOVERNER? BCC?

the only way to get rid of it is with a standalone ECU.

altho i have heard of one person having the dealer change it (change, not remove) to 140mph

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought you were talking about me, and the other members here!!

Why are you driving your new car thathard? And especially, WHYare you driving it that FAST on the highway? That's what race tracks are for.
Even if you are trying to kill yourself, think of the others you might take with you.

BTW, The Car Jerks because it runs itself out of fuel, keep doing it it will overheat also because of the running lean.

I second that.
I have had mine up to 110 without a problem, but I was driving around the track at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

6, Ken? Man, that musta' been a bored cop... but I've seen a few of 'em over there, for sure. However...
When I lived in eastern Pa and drove to Clinton, NJ every day for work, I used to drive nearly 30 miles one way on I-78, which at the time had a 55mph Sp.Lt. Everyone went 65-70+, but I saw very few being pulled over. I never even got pulled over (usually 70mph, when traffic allowed) andI had those jobs (2 of them) for a total of 5+ yrs!!
