Default Unable to find ABS Control Module

Thank you Go-Part!

Says 29 = Hydraulic Unit Right Front - Left Rear Brakeline
Says 22 = Circuit for the Hydralic unit / circuit for right front solenoid

Was told by a mechanic to replace ABS Control Module but having trouble finding one. Unfortunately not offered on the Go-Part site either.

Anyone know where I can get a part such as this for a 2000 Protege?

Default Obd-i?

Hey tanprotege,

Does that mean that the descriptions I looked up for codes 22 & 29 do not represent correctly my ABS error codes of 22 & 29? If so, any idea where I can find an explanation of these codes?

I'm hoping the ABS Control Module I have ordered will correct it, regardless. I went with the ABS Control Module because a brake shop did a $75 diagnostic that concluded with this recommendation. They gave the car back to me saying Mazda no longer makes the part.

No, this only means that I am surprised . AFAIK 2-digit codes are OBD-I and you read them from the blinking CEL light. OBD-I was replaced by OBD-II in the early 90s. But it is possible that there are a few systems using the old codes.
I don't know and I would like to know.

Problem solved.

Part above wrong but they confirmed an ABS Module (with pump attached) from a Protege with production date Sept-07-2000 to 2003, would work on my 2000.

Installed unit from a 2002 (bought on eBay). ABS light out & more importantly in dash Brake Light out. Just dropped for State re-inspection.

YEAH!!!
