So what is the price where you normally fill up? Today I paid $6.84 a gallon, its been going up again the last few weeks, on Sunday I paid $8.68 a gallon on my way home from my weekend trip down to South Tirol.

around $3.50 a Gallon. I don't envy you , but I know the feelings you have there.

A good place to check gas prices in the US is here:

T'was $3.16 just a week ago. Now $3.36 in USD.
$27.00 just to power our lawn equipment for a week.

But I am also very aware that the European countries have paid much higher prices for much longer. I guess we here in the States should be grateful(?).

You must have a big lawn, lots of rain, or a big tractor!

Gas up here is $1.20 + a litre. = $4.50 + a gallon US

That's 8 USG of fuel and it has to power a 42" twin-cyl John Deere riding mower, a 20" walk behind and a line trimmer.
We have 1.5 acres (1.54 to be exact) of not the easiest mowing you've ever seen. Plus we had 4" of rain last week alone which caused the grass to grow 6" during that time. Yesterday and today I am mowing the lawn for the third time in two weeks, and not because I enjoy doing it either. And the skeets (skeeters) are out too!!
Last year at this time, we had had NO rain for several months. I only mowed three times durung the whole season!!
This year, just the opposite.

Big lots have there pros and cons. I'll never mow another lawn again! Sounds like a good spot for a party!
Party at Virgin1's! Should only take me 20 hours to get there! (25 hours according to Mapquest).

Gas in my area is around $3.49 currently. Seems to go up a few cents every other day. =/ It got down to about $3.15 a month or so ago, I was soooo happy over that, lol.
