to me, rice is any nonfunction mod that goes too far from OEM. You can tint head and taillights, but put on Chrome tails and mimick CF headlights and it's rice. Now a ricer is a car with an excessive ammount of these mods. Wheels are the only exception to rice mods. Don't put the 2 or 3 foot bare CF wing on a daily driver, it only does crap on a track car. If you do want to make it look better, you can be original and be close to OEM and still be tasteful and not ricey. Like a small 1 to 4 inch body colored spoiler. Light tints. FUNCTIONAL hood scoops, fender scoops, and brake vents. No rear scoops on FF cars. No Roof scoops on any FF cars. No bare Carbon Fiber. Etc.

And there are such things as tasteful body mods. Like a front lip or a not-too-radical bumper.

I agree i hate seeing cars with wings that are taller and wired than the car, universal wings are ok, but the ones that have the lights on them now thats taking it to a whole other level of rice, why dont post a pic of a common peace of rice.
