Says hes still learning how to launch the car

Or this guy 14.4 @ 100mph
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/M...-in_701470.htm

So i guess forgot that higher altitude makes you run slower?

Run 1 - 13.950 @ 162.69 km/h (2.196 60ft)
Run 2 - 13.957 @ 162.05 km/h (2.209 60ft)
Run 3 - 13.934 @ 161.42 km/h (2.158 60ft)

08 Mazda speed 3. ran 13.7@99 BONE STOCK!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_hfU...eature=related

13.9 to 13.7 stock then added aftermarket parts

i could go deeper but i stuck with youtube because i wanted to shoot on combat arms (great stress releaver) instead of look, times are more consistant in the 13.7 range (on youtube)so ill just agree to that for now.

cars used in tests are rarely passed around from rival companies that wanna try and prove the samething, they actually do buy most of there cars or its the factory copy finalized prototype hense the inaccurate results.

and those wikipedia grade resources are just as bad, the only reputable resources id look at is top gear or 6th gear.

And admittedly that's the slowest of the bunch. I believe it can run high 13's. Still not buying 13.4 stock.

Sydney, Australia is a coastal city with an altitude of 3 meters (about 9 feet) above see level. Tough to get much lower altitude.

I believe that, with a good launch & reaction time.

We can agree on that.

I definitely disagree with you here, because I've personally inspected several vehicles designated as "Press" cars during production ramp-up during new vehicle launches. These are the vehicles that make the circuit around to all the magazines, newspapers, bloggers, etc. They are production vehicles, they have to be as they must be street legal. You can't run prototypes on the street without specific exemptions in-place. They may be low mileage, but they are definitely an accurate reflection of the vehicles performance.

Don't believe I used any Wiki sources. I know Top Gear did a review on the Mazda3 MPS, but I couldn't find it. I've got to go to bed or I'm going to be a wreck tomorrow.

Since you mention jeep, you forget to add to the list:
jeep compass
and course I think
Dodge Nitro
PT Cruiser
Chevy HHR
are all ugly.

Top Gear linky - Mazda3 MPS 0-60 - 6.1 seconds.

The only Saturn I've ever liked is the Sky.

The Caravan was just about the only good product with a Chrysler/Dodge badge in the past 25 years.
