MeB2000... I am 40. Even now, I drink Carnation breakfast essentials drinks. The only one that doesn't taste like crap. Not the powder, the case of paper cartons in the cereal isle. One in the morning and I am tremble free all day. I will shiver as if cold, if I go half a day without eating and it aggravates me to oblivion. They aren't cheap, but at work I still set the pace for 20 year olds. 🤨 Here is one in the fridge... just a thought.

And even used JB Weld in the casting area of a Supercharger (secret) to make it louder. lol

You know there are still avalible those in expensive drill press drill holders that actually work very well .

😲🤯
Never noticed a drill holder. Thanks for the tip!

I did order the drill holder above that Callisto suggested. But this one caught my eye, also. It is intended for wood applications. I think It would provide just enough stability for a light easy drilling of the flange on the intake manifold. I just need enough to prevent walking.

So, yep... going to dimple the circumference of each existing bolt hole (inside) with a dremel and micro carbide bits. (To stop the JB "slugs" from ever pushing out of the bolt holes.) Then fill each hole with original JB Weld. After that is dry, I will attempt to clamp the fixture from above in place and re-drill new holes in the correct spot.
Eh... good plan... 😬

Finally getting finished up with the throttle body. Here it is mock assembled for about the 4th time. I did a little more contouring on the throttle shaft and sharpened the inlet housing.

Got some receipt paper cut into strips and my loctite.

Bite down and hold...

Gapped and tightened down with thread locker.
And... here is my final photos. Throttle bade contoured, throttle shaft and fasteners cleaned up and the inlet housing contoured. 😎 Good enough for a street car.

Last one is before...
Next up is the manifold. Got JB Weld in the mail for tomorrow. I will be working on the plenum throat until JB sets up, over the next couple of days.

No backing out now... the holes are filled. Curing today, drilling tomorrow. If a guide shows up in the mail. 😉
