Sure miss Ed Roth. I have a collection of originals “ odd rod “ cards from 1960s, collected in the 1960s by me. The bubble gum was good as well.
Americana pieces for sure! I am appalled and scoff loudly at people who do not know Ratfink. 😉 I become dizzy and disoriented by the violent reaction of my head flying back and my line of sight paralleling with my nose. Then, I pop off with something witty like: "Whhhaaaa..." 😁
Now to bring back route 66... for kicks.
Actually that smiling face reminds me of the California Rais'ins.

I don't put stickers on my street rides but I did always have this on my Super Gas Camaro and all my Gas Altered. During the late 1980's and into the 90's I still had people asking me what the eye were?? lol
Mooneyes racing... seems like i remember a Camaro. Was it blue? Metallic blue, split bumper with polished wheels....
The only reason the questions stopped is because of the portable goo-gull machines. Now they quietly goo-gull inaccurate information. LOL!
In the 80's I would have been watching the console t.v. from a tricycle in my grandparent's house. But it was intently watching, sir....
The 80s was my years owning and operating several automotive related shops.... The funny thing with forums is seldom to members post the year they were born, point is you never know about the experiences and acquired experience level one has ?
Your Batman was very different from mine. Yours was Micheal Keaton, mine was Adam West... rolmao
By 6 yrs old, I had all the standard socket sizes memorized and was working on metric equivalents.
If you couldn't retrieve tools for the Uncles you were kicked out of the shop. Grandpa owned some body shops, godfather was a dealer, uncles raced and repaired heavy equipment/fleet services. I enjoyed pulling wrecks with frame machines and playing with ridiculous heavy equipment lathes as a teenager. Worked as lead mechanic at a couple of general garages as a young adult. Growing up with MX/SX and at the dirt track and playing lead to old mechanics has made me thick skinned over the years.
I am not bothered by much. I smile and laugh a lot.
I enjoy my immediate family now. Work as a big box remodeler. I only do things for myself, friends and family, now. Get begged a lot by others who remember.
This was last month... V6 AWD, it will come out the top.
I completely understand! As a Building Inspector.......we say the same thing when we have a side job, that takes too much to do! I have recently wired several new homes for fellow Building Inspectors and/or friends, and each time I swear "that" job is my last one!!! Tough to say NO at times.
