Talking The wife's new ride

Picked up a new 2018 CX-5 Touring in Soul Red for my loving spouse.
After clocking 240,000 miles on her F150 SCrew, I think she was due for a new ride.

Really like the adaptive cruise control.
The lane keep assist, not so much. Ended up turn this off in the settings because it felt too much like fighting the steering wheel to change lanes.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Quite a change from a F150. There is some concern about the new red that Mazda is using. You may want to do some research and consider something for paint protection before you have excessive chips.

Thanks for the info.
I was reading about the paint in the Red Crystal Metallic thread on the CX-5 forum.

The wife really wanted another new truck, but unfortunately married a Scrooge McDuck that is too tight with the purse strings.

I want to get my wife this car but the GT model. She is a bit of a pain, Extremely hard to please. I will have to add rims and bodykit on this to make her happy. She originally wanted cars worth over 60k such as BMW X3, Range Rover Evoque

Hopefully I can convince her enough to be happy with this and ill add some wheels and bodykit to make her happy

The CX-5 is definitely a better ride.

I know this to, but all she cares about is how it looks and brand...

Regarding the lane keep assist, are you aware that you can change the level of intervention via the MZD screen?
