New Member - 2020 CX-5 GTR
Hey all,
Name's Mike and introducing myself to the forums. I live in Chicago and just picked up a new CX-5 GTR in pearl white at the end of last week. Traded up from my wife's 2010 Mazda3 b/c we wanted more space - we definitely miss driving a manual but the new car is great and our german shepherd pup loves it! April's incentives at Mazda are pretty good with loyalty cash, 0% financing and dealership markdowns during these crazy times. My wife bought her car new in '09 for $12K...with loyalty cash, took $5K off our purchase, not including dealer cash. I was a member of the mazdaspeed forums where I received lots of great advice to make the 3 more fun - hope the same is true here and will contribute as much as I am able.
Below is the prior car: 2010 Mazda3 i sport with upgraded suspension: Koni yellows with slight drop on Eibach Pro-kits sitting on 18' Speed3 wheels. Said goodbye with under 72K miles:
New ride: 2020 CX-5 GTR. On order: roof rails which I'll install myself and researching crossbars (looks like Thule Aeroblades are popular). May look into updating exhaust to a corksport and get some breathing mods to open it up a bit:
Cheers,
Mike
