Hey everyone, new to this forum, but after looking it over, there seems to be alot of info here. I have a 1991 Miata with a standard shift transmission. Hope some one can help me out a a problem I'm having. Cranks over, but won't start. Plenty of fuel and no spark. Timing belt is good and coil tested good. Any help would be great.

OK. You say there is no spark but the coil tested good. How do you know "no spark"? How was the coil tested? There has to be something mechanical that tells the coil packwhen and where to send the spark. I had a Miata Specialist tell me there was some sort of mechanical device located near the coil pack that does this and has been known to fail. I can't remember the name of it. I'm not a Miata expert but this was one of the things I need to check to fix my Miata problem (different problem).
