New to the forum
Hey im new here and i recently bought a 2014 mazda 3
Its the touring model sedan and i iust want to know where to start with upgrading it. It had the 2.0 liter skyactive engine. Im currently in the airforce so my budget isnt huge but i maintain aircraft so it should be able to figure how to do most of the swaps and maintenance on the car. I just want to find out what is affordable and maybe something to just make my car look, sounds and run better. I know this will be a slow process and be done piece by piece.
Thanks everyone for any input.

First, Thank you for your service. I have an extremely high level of respect for everyone in the service that keep us safe so we can worry about the little things like our vehicles.
Welcome to the forum. Fortunately (and unfortunately) Mazda does an excellent job engineering their vehicles to maximize performance, economy and reliability. There isn't much that you can do that would make a noticeable improvement in performance without both spending a fortune and destroying the reliability. As for cosmetic changes, that is subject to your personal preference but again, there is not much on the market specific for our Mazdas.
Forum members: I welcome anyone who can provide suggestions and prove me wrong.
