new 2024 CX-5 in Washington State
Good Morning all
Yesterday I picked up a new 2024 CX-5 Turbo Premium. I'm coming from a 2013 GMC Acadia with the 3.6 V6 that became time to trade at 175,000 miles.
Having recently shrunk my passengers from 4 to 3 and now 2 (my wife and me), it was time for a car that was a little more just us focused and smaller. We were between the Subaru Forester, a Buick Envision, CX-5, and CX-50. We didn't like how the Forester drove at all, the Envision didn't fit the golf clubs very well and couldn't find one on a lot that had all the stuff I wanted. I was down to the CX-5 and CX-50. Both could have worked. In poking around it seemed the CX-5 fit everything we wanted. It's known negatives (small rear seat) aren't negatives for us at all. I noticed poking around the CX-50 there seemed to be little things here and there Mazda pinched some pennies on - a tightening of the ole belt as the accountants say. The CX-5 just seems a tiny touch nicer fit and finish. Both have the very nice material quality and feel much more so than the other cars I drove.
Here's to hoping for a nice smooth 10 years. So happy to be in a new car again.
