Hello everyone! I picked up a new Mazda 6 and so far it’s great! I’ve got 500 miles on it and I’ve noticed that the transmission shifting from 1st to 2nd is slipping? Not sure if that’s Th e best descriptive term but it almost shifts twice to get into 2nd. I notice it more if the accelerator isn’t pressed down far and it almost feels like it shifts and then a split second later shifts again. I don’t notice it in other gears, don’t notice it by manually shifting (higher rpm shift than auto) and don’t notice it if I get the rpms up in auto by gassing it more.

First new car I’ve ever had and wondering if maybe this is just the break in period or if I should say something to the dealer. I saw a post where someone said it took 10,000 miles before they noticed smooth shifts (don’t know model year)
