Default Is my 2013 Mazda 6 a goner?? Please help!

I have a 2013 Mazda 6 that I have had since April of last year; though, due to family issues, I haven't driven it since last October. So, basically, the car has just been sitting in our garage doing nothing. Every once in awhile, I would go into the garage with my key fob to see if the car would still beep when I locked it. This was to make sure that the battery was still okay and usable. Usually, when I did this the horn would always sound without a hitch... that is, until about 2 weeks ago. When I went back into the garage to try it again, I got no beep from the horn at all... I didn't even see the security light flashing inside the car when it's off. I know that the car has been sitting for some months now, but is that is detrimental to a car's life span?? I'm SERIOUSLY hoping that this is just a battery replacement issue and not something much more drastic. My knowledge of cars in general is actually pretty subpar, so any answers at all would help. Thanks a lot, guys. #Worriedasallgetout 😟😟

99.99% chance it's just a flat battery.

Also, regardless of the low usage, the car still needs servicing at least once a year.
