Question More power from my Mazda 3

Hey people vaughn here again. As I have mentioned before i have a 2008 1.6l Mazda 3 hatchback. From my research i am only putting out 105-106hp I want to get a bit more horses out of it. I was thinking initially of SRI as there is a serious chance of getting water logged based on flooded roads during heavy rainfall here in the caribbean so no CAI for me. I also wanted to go turbo some time in the near future but read where valves may be an issue with the higher boost and there may be a need to do some reduction in my con rod. All i am looking for is a slight increase in hp probably 15-20% is there a simpler more cost effective way to do this without i start disassembling the engine and swapping out all these parts.... Any ready made solution...

Default Just a point

by the way i have checked the threads and see various recommendations about turbo e.g. tripoint.... but no where is a 1.6l with auto/tip tiptronic mentioned....or if i can the 20 hp without turbo .....or if a supercharger is recommended over the turbo...plus as i mentioned do not wanna gut the engine

Not really, and 15-20% HP increase is not small but rather significant.
While an SRI won't even come close to offering that much of an increase in power, it is also not likely to be affected by heavy rains. An SRI (Short Ram Intake) lives in the engine compartment and is actually higher off the ground than the factory intake is.
A CAI (Cold Air Intake) lives behind the bumper in the LS wheel well.

Tuning the factory ECU (PCM) might afford you another 5-7hp and if you can find one for the 1.6L but would likely cost several hundred dollars. The big advantage to those seems to be improved throttle response more than hp.
