Mazda2 locks but lights dont turn on?

Mazda2 locks but lights dont turn on?
Hi everyone,
My Mazda 2 1.3 2010 Takuya has got a slightly pain in the back fault with the lights. When i lock or unlock the car with the fob the lights dont blink.
Is there any reason why this is happening? How can i fix it?

Did the problem just start?
Are you sure that it is locked when you hit the lock button?
Is there any chance that one of the doors or the trunk is not fully closed?
Did you do anything with the electrical system around the time the lights stopped flashing?
