My 1999 mazda milliena quit going in reverse a couple of weeks but we got it where it goes in reverse now but today it quit going in drive. What can be the problems

 

It could be in the shift linkage, check for slack in the end bushings. It could be the PRNDL switch on the trans. It could be a leaking seal in the forward clutch pack or a solenoid. Any codes? Will it go into gear manually if you put it in first gear?

 

check fluid level. if it is low, it will do that. however, if it is low, then you have a leak somewhere
