I just purchased the 2016.5 CX-5 GT on Saturday. I am interested in getting the aftermarket remote engine start from the dealership. I told my salesman that and he said it does not use a separate remote anymore it is programmed into the regular key-fob. Does anyone have experience with this? My previous CX-5 had the Mazda remote which uses a separate key fob. I don't see any information online anywhere regarding this new remote start.
