Purchased a CX5 on labor day and now looking at remote start options, the mobile app versions.

The Mazda version looks sleek but I have been reading bad user reviews on logging in and needing to restart the car when you open a door. The Viper seems to get much better reviews.

Has anyone installed either and what is working the best?

I don't have an answer, but am very interested in this question as well. My office is 1/2 mile from my parking lot. I would love to come out to a warm car

 

After my research, I think I am going with the Mazda version. I am hoping that as they develop the app they may make more mods to the control and make it sweeter. I have not seen any compelling reviews on-line to sway me to Viper or another system. I will have to deal with restarting the car, only going to occur in extreme cold or hot weather anyway.
