We just got home last night after driving 7 hours total to go buy a 2002 Protege 5!! Ive always liked these cars so when the time came for a second vehical without any payments,this search began;we tried a couple before we found this one.I ll post some pics soon.The car has just 100k,black,sunroof,auto,new tires,one owner,really happy with our find.Any input on timing belt , etc,theres no work history. Also any resources for parts, it could use a better condition hatch emblem,this one the red is almost worn off the 5!! Update;Oh Great!! Check engine light just came on!!Gas cap was really loose,hopefully that was it....?
