So I got a 93 b2200 with a 91 carbed engine in it and I want to know how I can make some more horse power easily obviously turbo but how could I do that and how much would it cost and also just some simple mods because I’m broke
If you're broke then don't do anything. Putting a turbo in your vehicle will end up being akin to using torn up one-hundred dollar bills to line your oil drain pan.
Welcome to the forum. You have a nice looking B2200. I had a B2000 and loved it.
I agree with shipo. With your Mazda, I would focus on reliability and appearance and spend as little as possible. Learn to do as much of the maintenance yourself as you can.
Power gains from modifications are expensive, negatively impact reliability and significantly reduce the value of your vehicle when it comes time to sell.
As a CPA and a father I will add: whenever you say "I am broke" think to yourself "I can only spend money on what is absolutely necessary" and "What can I do to not be broke". Realizing that you are broke can be a depressing thought or it can be a motivator.
you already have the best mod (carb upgrade) at most id add a header and make sure you have a good exhaust. then the best thing you can do is make sure all your valves are in spec and get the carb jetted and tuned so your motor is making its best power and getting the best gas mileage (if you can keep track of your right foot) and will also make your motor last longer, saving you money in the long run to do more mods
