Default Hi from Chicago!

Howdy, my name is Adam. I have always liked cars however, it is just recently that I have started taking a serious interest in Mazda. I grew up on a farm that sits about 45 minutes outside of Chicago, and was previously (and still kind of am) a Ford Fanatic. I currently drive a 99 Ford Taurus, however I remember the first auto show I went to was in Chicago and it was debuting the then brand new Mazda 3, which I absolutely loved. So I currently have eyes on an MX-3 which I am curious about since I don't know much. Do those cars have parts readily availible? Are they reliable? I love the way the car looks I just don't know a whole lot about them. Are they bigger then the MX-5? I'm 6'6" lol and I can fit in it, barely, but I would like a little more space.

Hi DoomsdayMelody!

Read this: Mazda MX-3 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mechanically they are pretty much the same a sthe Mazda Protege/ 323 of the same years: very economical and very reliable. But keep in mind they are old by now.

Is this the inspiration for your screen name?

my fav scene from 'deep blue sea' : janice gets eaten by a shark - YouTube

Lol now I wish it was, thats a great movie. But I'm not particularly afraid of old cars, they are a lot simpler than the new cars that are out today, even the car I drive now is coming up on 15 years and I've replaced a good amount of wear and tear items on it, I just wanted to make sure there were plenty of parts, because I always show my babys a little tlc when something needs replacing I replace it asap.
