Default HELP

Surely someone in this forum can give me an anwer to a simple question. I don't mean to sound like an ***, but I joined this forum so that I would be in the company of people who know what they are doing and are familiar with Mazda vehicles. I simply want some advice or answers about removing a seemingly unremovable bolt from a crankshaft pulley on a 1998 mazda 626 4 cyl. Which way is the bolt threaded? Thank you in advance for your help

Default RE: HELP

it is like all people say... rigthy tighty, lefty loosey..... or something like that.... the problem that you are going to have is that the bolt is torqued from factory at 240 lbs/ft.... so, if you do not have access to a pneumatic gun, i suggest getting that car hig up in the air and getting your 17mm old wrench and a 3+ lbs sledge hammer..... it will take a couple of hits, but surely it will become loose......
