So i can start my car once a day! kinda wierd but after i let it run it wont idle below 1500rpm's without dyin out and then it'll turn over but won't start. There's also a engine rattle more prominent when its comin down, and it blows blue smoke when i use to drive it as i was accelerating...Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

 

Check for vacuum leaks around the carb and hoses and the intake.
By the way, I'm trying to put a value on '84 RX's . What do you figure your car is worth
