FNG checking in. Just picked up an 08 Mazda3. Bright silver, with black interior. It is the I sport.

I got it to save gas on the drive to work, but i cant leave anything alone, so im sure i will be modding a few things.

I live in the SE houston area, and work in the NE side, so i have about 80 miles round trip.

Interested in learning what i can, and getting tips and tricks from you guys.

anything i should know right off the bat?

Nice vehicles you have!

Keep in mind, if you modify you will likely spend more money than you save on gas. Already, maintaining 2 vehicles vs one is a hit on the budget. Do the math.

 

oh trust me. i know all about the mod bug. I just cant leave anything stock. It will be fun, and i will be doing simple inexpensive mods.

short list includes.

stubby antenna
fix shift indicator surround (it is scratched up bad)
2nd horn
LED signal light
led interior
yellow fog
HID (maybe)
and some PD eyelids

I may PD the badges as well.
