Hey everybody, another new guy here... The name's Brad, 23yrs... capricorn... long walks on the beach.. etc.. Spend most of my time on airlinepilotforums.com and saabcentral.com sites, but looking to transfer over here.... I am looking at the possibility of getting a Mazda3 5-door hatchback. It will be the s-grand touring version with navi and 6 cd packages. I currently drive a 2003 Saab 9-3 Linear, BSR stage 1 and a few other small mods. I love the Saab, but at 108K on the clock, and OOW, it is getting a bit expensive to keep.

Anyway, I've done quite a bit of reserach on the car and would like to get your opinion on the car. Dont sugar coat it either, I would really like to know the pros and cons of the '3', any recurring or common known MX issues and your experience on its reliability.

if you crash your car, dont hit a rock. lol. figured that out yesterday. anyway with the mazda3 you dont gotta worry about much right now to be honest with ya. there are some sort of little things. but other then that the car is great. i love it. granted i wont have it for 2 weeks but whatever i still love it

 

It wont have the power the stock Saab did, but then again spending the money on N/A 3 you might just want to get a Speed.
There have been a few issues with a motor mount and other little things but I do love My MZ3 s
