Just bought new Mazda 3 Sport Nav (second Mazda 3 in 3 years so am a bit of a fan) but have a problem with the SCBS. Indicator comes on amber and stays for 2-3 minutes then goes off. This has happened twice now. The first time there were no cars around for miles, the second time was in a trafic queue. Haven't taken car to dealers yet but has anyone any experience with this problem? Just like to be prepared!

 

Take it to the dealer and let us know what you find.

My son had the system activate in our 2016 Mazda 2 (Scion IA) following a pick-up truck. The truck was accelerating. The car behind him almost hit him. I think it was a shifting load in the back of the truck.

New technology can be great when it works.

 

Have just cleaned radar sensor (front emblem) as recommended in manual so will give it a week or two.Found a couple of dead flies! If indicator comes on again then straight to dealer.
