So my snazzy new 2018 mazda 3 has smart city brake support, but makes no mention on the window sticker that it has smart brake support. Are the one and both the same or does having city brake support mean you have both? It's the touring model.

 

No they are not the same. Smart City Brake Support is via a laser from the windshield and is for low speed interventions. Smart Brake Support is via a radar sensor in the front of the car (under the Mazda logo). If you don't have radar cruise control, then you don't have Smart Brake Support either. They both use the same sensor.
