SCBS malfunction & engine stalls
Hi, I have a Mazda 6 tourer 2015 2.2d SE-L 27k. On two occasions in the last week the SCBS malfunction light has came on and the engine stalled. On the first occasion I managed to restart the engine first time and the warning light disappeared. But on the second occasion the engine would not restart and kept cutting out. After approx 5 mins it restarted and warning lights disappeared.
I thought the first time was a one off but after the second time I'm concerned.

Incidentally, on both occasions I was driving slowly down hill with gears in neutral and my foot on the brake.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hei Mutley66, did you manage to sort your problem? I have/had sort of the same problem (engine stalling) and sometimes when stopping the car at a traffic light ''scbs forward malfunction''.
Mazda Romania fixed the engine stalling (had it from the service for 1 week and seems to be working ok now) by cleaning the air intake gallery (they said it;s a common problem on this model and that when used more in city traffic it tends cu get clogged from the bad diesel)
SCBS error still appears 1-2 times a week and probably i will have to take it back to them....but as i read on this forum it's pretty common and haven;t found no resolution yet.
