I have an 07 Mazda 6. I went to start my car and none of the guages in my dashboard will move, my windows won't go up or down, and it won't come out of first gear. The only light that comes on is a red car with a key in it. Does not blink often. The radio and everything else works. I had the codes read and they said it was U0155 but the Mazda dealership said it may be the key immobilizer. Anyone have any suggestions before I start dishing out money that I don't have.

 

That code is a communication fault between the instrument cluster & the PCM. Do you have a spare key to try?

The imobiliser system is controled/run via the instrument cluster.

 

I only got one key when I bought the car.
