Interesting that the fuses are good that would have been the first thing to check. Have you done anything that might have caused it: installed anything electrical, hit a huge pothole, find any evidence of mice?
The next thing to look at is the wiring looking for something that might have caused some damage to the wiring. I would also double check the fuse since this is the easiest thing to fix..
Any other suggestions from those with more experience???

I think you found the source of your problem.Check your work first. Make sure everything looks right. Did something get knocked loose when you were removing the system?
By the way, what part of the world are you in? There seems be Richmonds everywhere.
