Default B2000 - replacement engine

How do everyone?!

New to this forum and already got a problem. Bought an 1988 B2000 pick up. On the way home *ahem* the big end went. Anyways, I've fallen in love with it already and want to keep it - so can anyone tell me what engines will fit straight in? I got big plans/dreams for this truck.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Engines from the B2000 and B2200 will drop right in. The engine from a Miata and Kia Sportage will also bolt right in but of course those two you would need to install the entire wiring harness, PCM, fuel system and all. For the Miata you would also need the bell housing from a Miata tranny and modify the B2000 tranny with it for it to bolt up.
