Default 2000 B3000 no crank no start

I bought a 2000 B3000 that has no crank no start condition. The battery is new. I've checked all fuses and relays. I hear no relay click when turn key to the run position. The fuel pump runs for 2 to 3 seconds then stops. When I hold the key in the start position the theft light flashes slowly. Using a remote starter button I can get the engine to turn over but it still doesn't start. If anyone knows what I should check next the help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Has it been scanned for codes?

If the immobiliser light continues to flash its indicating a immobiliser fault.
