Default 1995 Astina. motor won't crank

Hi All

I would appreciate some help. I have a 95 Astina and my engine won't turn over. Originally i thought it was the battery but have replaced it with a new one and still nothing. When I turn the ignition key all I hear is the solenoid engaging but no starter motor action.

I have done some research and found that it could be the earth or the starter itself. What is the best way to check the earth connection. I have a multimeter.

Also what is the best way to check the starter?

Thanks

Default Fixed cranking problem.

Hi All

After a while I managed to take the starter motor out and when I pulled it apart I found the 2 of the brushes had been totally worn out.

I bought new one and put it in and the car starts beautifully.
