I like this, but hate the price. http://www.wagnermotorsports.net/tur...s_mazda_6.htm# I was thinking bout making a junkyard turbo instead of buying this one, but now im reconsidering with the high gas prices and all. So a new door has opened...nitrous.
Now i just have to find a place that has better internals for our 6's.

Who makes superchargers for our 6's?

 

I dont believe there are any superchargers for the 6s, and that wagner turbo looks a little sketchy.

 

There acutally is a supercharge, but it's a top mount supercharge which means you'd have to either cut and mold a hood scoop on or get a new hood to accomidate it. The gains are significant, but the reduction in MPG is just not worth it right now. Plus the modding you'd have to do to fit it on the top of the engine would definatly add work time if you needed to change out....well pretty much anything at all. And that turbo is about the fastest way I can think to destroy the engine in your 6s. It's untested and unrated for a reason.

I agree with you Jkoolman..... anything like a supercharger or a turbo will cut your engines life expectancy tramatically and unless you have the money to replace everything, dont be messing much with the engine.

 

i don't see the 6 as a race car and putting on a tubo is useless..

for more city driving better off with supercharger.

i had a supercharger on my 99 accord and i do missed that feeling[X(]
