What is a good and cheap battery for 2004 Mazda 6 s
I know 40r is the battery i need i just can't go anywhere to confirm any of the cheap ones since my current battery has a bad cell and cannot run without a jumpstary

You shop the correct battery for your application and what you can afford.
I would at least consider Interstate. Maily forms an authorized dealer/seller because of thier nation wide warranty and more of them then there are Costco's in the USA.
The second alternative is a NAPA battery for the same reasons.
Thjen if you must COSCO but Costco batteries are generally only warrantied through another Costco unless it is stated otherwise on the receipt.
If you go to Ebay or amazon beware of none authorized sellers. If they are an authorized seller of any nationally known battery, then they will state it on their add or ask them directly through the contact seller feature.
