USB port for Apple CarPlay keeps disconnecting.
Hi,
I have a 2015 Mazda 6 and installed wired Apple CarPlay through a Mazda dealership a couple months ago.
Everything worked fine up until today, where CarPlay keeps randomly disconnecting and my phone stops charging while connected to one of the USB ports in the console storage space.
The other USB port charges without issue, so the problem isn’t the charging cable, however I can’t use this one as Carplay only works through the adjacent port.
Has this happened to anyone else? The port does feel quite loose, and I’m worried it may be a wiring problem. If it is, what’s my next step?
