I have a nav sd card. I read somewhere and now cant find the post, that you have to drive a minimum miles before removing the card, inserting into a PC and then run the update tool with the mazda tool box. Is that correct or did misread the post?

 

You are correct. You need to drive 60 miles or so to pair the cars to the car. I would drive double that to be sure.
